My name is Connor O’Keefe.

 

chameo is a passion project my dad, Kevin, and I started through our shared love for animals. Growing up, he had more fish and reptiles than our local pet store, and I bred snakes and lizards. I spent my 20s managing a large tropical fish hatchery and wholesaler, and I was lucky enough to work with importers, customers, and animals all over the world.

A couple of years ago, my dad and I got a few pairs of Ambilobe panther chameleons together. While he was acting as head matchmaker, I started building our chameleon studio. This adventure has only grown from there. These are truly the most fascinating and striking animals I have worked with through many years studying and managing wildlife projects.

We are committed to these animals and anyone interested in learning more about them. We have learned so much about their behavior and quirks and have developed many tips and tricks to their care and husbandry. We are more than happy to help anyone trying to figure out the world of chameleoneering.
